Dear Colleagues

Phoenix Piek designer of noted jewellery label AGALIA  in conjunction with Maritima Inc and myself is searching for a model and photographer to showcase her latest jewellery for an advertisement photo promotional campaign in Modavia and Avenue magazine.

This is a paid position where the model will recieve 2500 L and the photographer 2500L for the sum total of their work in producing a photo marketing campaign to feature AGALIA `s new collection ( the shoulder pads featured in sample below will be one of the items required to be showcased in the photos) Alternatively the photographer may also be the model or vice-a-versa and will be paid a gross payment of 5000L

This is a very prestigious label and has been featured numerous times in blogs, magazines and showcased in runway style challenges. Agalia has managed to keep her uniqueness and boutique appeal avoiding mainstrem malaise while at the same time establishing itself as one of the most sought after jewellery labels in SL

The closing date for the entry will be midnight saturday 23/10/10

At which point final selections will be made.

If you are applying for the photographer or the joint Photographer/Model position featuring yourself please follow below instructions

- Please send at least one full perm 1024x1024  photograph highlighting how you intend to showcase the jewellery to its best effect. It is preferable to wear AGALIA jewellery in the photo but not a prerequiste or compulsory, You may send additional photos that best showcase your work in this context

-Please send to me emanuelle Courtois with your name labelled on the photograph texture  in the form of  ( Agalia Photographer --------NAME ) or alternatively you may attach the textures to a named NC

- You may use whatever editing tools are at your disposal and be as creative as you like

- PLEASE COME TO AGALIA MAIN STORE TO STUDY THE DESIGNS so that you are aware of the character, composition and nature of the photographs as well viewing the Photo below.

* FOCUS of the photos on the designs themselves (are there too many distractions taking away from that focus? can you clearly see the jewellery in the photo? etc)

* QUALITY and composition of photography (Photo processing and artistic additions to the photos are accepted and encouraged, but alterations to the integrity of the basic design or color of the clothing should not be made in processing the photos.)

Liberty Runway Model Contest - Fashion Show For Charity!

The Liberty sim is having a fashion show for charity next weekend. The charity is to help the giantttt oil spill in the gulf, it's caused a lot of damage to the waters and the many critters of the ocean in that area. Mostly 100% of the proceeds for the event will go to the charity!!

 1.) You will NOT be a model for Posh hair. You'll be a model for the fashion show aka a RUNWAY model.  However, my hair will be displayed during the fashion show, so you WILL get to model my hair down the runway.

3.) There will be many designers participating, so you'll be spoiled with many freebies to rock down the runway. Ranging from skins, to hair, to clothes, to poses and many other things..Who doesn't like free shit? I do!

(PLEASE READ before applying)

1.) You'll need to snap a photo of yourself, no one else. Feel free to edit it, photo shop it, do whatever you want to manipulate it and make it glamorous..anything goes!

2.) It MUST be your own work. If it's stolen from someone else, you'll be automatically disqualified from the contest. 

3.) You can model anything you want in the photo, just please make sure that is a photo of YOU..if you model with someone else, please specify which one is you in the photo.

4.) If you are chosen to be a model for the runway, please PLEASE PLEASEEEEEEEE, be aware that you will have to be available NEXT Saturday night, no exceptions. If you can't show up on time for anything, then please don't apply. We're taking this serious, this charity is very very important and meaningful to all of us at Liberty.

Modavia Fashion Marketing is pleased to announce the Spring Casting to add new male and female Supermodels to its team. The Supermodels will represent Modavia not only in the Modavia Fashion Directory, but in all its productions and related projects.

The casting consists of three stages:

1) The first step to apply is preparing two photographs following the theme and the instructions given in this notecard;

2) In the second stage, 50 models will be chosen from all the applicants. They will be divided into two groups and sent a personal invitation with all the details for a runway audition, which will be held on Sunday, May the 9th at 12 PM and 1 PM SLT;

3) For the finals, 20 models will be invited to participate in a casting on Sunday, May the 16th at 12 PM SLT.

After this, FIVE new models will be invited to join the Modavia Supermodels Group.

NOTE: we will not reschedule the dates shown above to suit individual models. No exceptions. Therefore, if you are interested in joining this casting, please mark down those dates in your calendar and be sure of your availability to attend.

Moreover, those who pass through the single stages of this casting will receive a personal invitation to the next step, and there will not be any public announcement in Modavia groups. So please don't ask any Modavia Staff about casting decisions, you will get to know about it if you receive the invitation.

To apply for the casting:

1. Conditions to join:
- You must be at least 6 months old in SL
- Minimum level of English is necessary
- You must be an experienced model

2. Join Modavia Prospective Models group (unless already a member of a Modavia group). All Modavia groups will receive the same casting notices.

3.  Insert ONE headshot and ONE full body shot into this note card.  Please place YOUR NAME on each texture before inserting into the notecard and make sure that they are FULL PERM.  Please note that applications with more than TWO photographs will be automatically disqualified.

4. The theme for this casting is "Paris In The Springtime" - inspired by the Cole Porter song. The key words are Springtime, elegance, and a style reminiscent of Parisian couture.  You will be judged on how you interpret this theme and how you style your look accordingly.  We are looking for unique male and female models with a flair for fabulous styling.
