Fellini Couture , 1st anniversary Photo Contest

This summer, Fellini Couture celebrates its first anniversary !!!

Joy Fellini created her very first gown last year during hot days, and since this time she hasn't stopped creating for our great pleasure !!

For this very special occasion we are organizing a photo contest :

The theme is : Fairytale (princess, witch, faery, and whatever your imagination will creates)

~~Rules :

PLEASE, READ IT CAREFULLY

✦ Entries will run from August 15th to September 1st.2010 [3pm SLT]

/!\ entries after this deadline will not be taken into consideration /!\

✦ Only one photo per entry and the photo has to be a new creation. No old photo please.

There can be one or several models on the pic but there will be only one prize.

✦ You can take the photo by yourself or hire a photographer. You have to wear a creation from Fellini Couture or a mix&match with Joy Fellini's design.

(Hairs, Lingerie are also acceptable)

✦ Photo editing is encouraged but not mandatory. If you use a photo editing programs make sure designs keep the same aspect as in world. (No morphs and no vulgarity)

✦ We reserve the right to remove any images that is not matching our rules from the pool.

✦ Post the photo into the Fellini Couture, 1st Anniversary - Photo Contest group on Flickr :

✦ Add the tag "Fellini Couture 1st Anniversary" to your photo.

Premiere Modelling Agency would like to recognize and promote kindness in the modeling profession.

When you look in the mirror what do you see? Do you feel good about the person looking back at you? Are you proud of the day you put in to your Second Life? Did you extend random acts of kindness? Volunteer for a worthy cause? Do you strive to ‘do no harm’? Do you make SL a pleasant place for those arround you?

Premiere Modelling Agency is looking for a person who exemplifies inner beauty through kindness and generosity in SL.

The RECIPIENT OF THE 2011 AV IN THE MIRROR AWARD will be announced on New Years Day, January 1, 2011 and will hold the title throughout the year. The winner will receive the award, $10,000 lindens and assume a role suited to her or his skills in Premiere Modelling Agency.

COST OF ENTRY: Kindness

A Panel of Judges will choose the winner. Finalists will be selected each month and the winner will be announced on January 1, 2011.

Last Chance For MVW 2011 - Hurry!!

It´s that time of the year when the MISS VIRTUAL WORLD Organization begins the search for the most beautiful female avatar on the grid!

If you would like to be considered, please follow these instructions carefully. Entries which do not meet this  criteria will not be shown on the MISS VIRTUAL WORLD Board.

1. Send a FULL PERM 512 x 512 headshot to BlackBarbie Bravin AND Frolic Mills labeled: MISS VIRTUAL WORLD 2011  (YOUR NAME) (don´t forget the year!!). Just send the texture, no folder is needed.

2. At the end of every month the judges will select those ladies, from the entry board, who they would like to see at a live audition. This means your face shot will be your first impression on the judges-so make it fabulous!

3. If you are called back for a live audition, prepare an outfit that you think will impress the judges. You will be judged on your walk, pose, styling and overall appearance. Please be aware that we are NOT looking for a Miaa Rebane nor Mimmi Boa look alike. We are looking for a new fabulous MISS VIRTUAL WORLD!

4. If you get enough votes from the judges, you will be announced as an official MISS VIRTUAL WORLD 2011 candidate.

5. If you were called back, BUT did not make it into the official candidate´s list, you may audition again at a later live audition without resubmitting a new picture.

6. If you were not called back for a live audition at all, you may re-enter a new face shot for the following month.

7. Photoshop is allowed, but please keep photographs realistic so that it reflects what you actually look like in Second Life. (That´s why we have live auditions too)

8. Monthly auditions will be held from April till September. In October we will announce ALL the Official MISS VIRTUAL WORLD Candidates.

9. The MISS VIRTUAL WORLD Pageant will be held on December the 18th at 10:00 am SLT. Please be aware that all rehearsals and press presentations will be held on Saturdays at around this time from October to December. If you cannot commit to this schedule, please don´t audition at all.

First on the list today is Maribel Penucca. A top SL model with a heart! Maribel is a caring person who likes to help people and dicover new minds. She is looking for her prince charming to take her out on a surprise evening. It could be you!!!

Our n°2 participant is Rae Robbiani. I've met Rae not long ago, and I can say she is a charming lady and great to talk to. She has a bubbly personality and is always in for a laugh. She is a sim landscaper and creates avatars. Rae loves dancing, laughing, good music, exploring and photography. Top choice! Want a proof? I have placed a bid on her!

Une is our third participant. Want to know what your date with Une will look like? Read her own words: I would like something with a lot more thought...a splash of exclusivity, and something that reveals his creativity as well as shows his interest the "getting to know".
I'm a bit unorthodox at times, so I would also be open to a non-conventional type of date. Jumping out of a hired helicopter, and parachuting down to the middle of a desert and racing on sand dunes...to hot tubbing semi nude in the middle of a snow storm. :-)

Next up, Vikeejeah Xevion. Vikee is a model agency owner and a successful model herself. She's an old-fashioned romantic. Her perfect date? Taking the time to talk and get to know you in a lovely setting: a ballroom, a restaurant, a scenic sim, or a beautiful tropical beach... Keep it romantic and you'll meet a fantastic person!

N°5 : Aubrei Ember. Aubrei likes to try new things : anything from exploring a new sim to dancing at a club. Just make sure of one thing : make her laugh! She loves to laugh. In my country, there's a proverb about women who laugh...

Finally, Viola Rookswood. A very active SL Top Model, co-captain for the BoSL Browns Cheer Squad, with a great sense of humour!!! She'll offer her fashion model expertise to take you for a styling session. Did I mention she's absolutely stunning?

Here's the new post about 6 more "contestants" for the BCA Date Auction at Costa Rica Sims.
The good news so far is that there are more and more contestants, however this also means I will now review them 6 by 6. Today's "selection" is a great one and I can only recommend you to go to Costa Rica to check all those wonderful people. You're certain to find your dream date!!!

Let's start today with RedhairGenie Cabassoun. Red is one of SL's top models, an SFL cheerleader, and a professional makeover artist. What does she offer? Dancing and dinner on a luxurious yacht, followed by a tour in a hot-air balloon alone with one of the most beautiful girls in Second Life. What more could you ask for?

Second up is one of my favorite contestants: Pfritz Balogh. Pfritz supports BCA events every year and is a lovely person. A music fan who loves to dance, Pfritz will love to take you to a musical evening. On your way to the venue, you might stop at a top photographer's studio for a free shoot! Feeling more adventurous? PF would love to try auto racing, surfing, flying an airplane or a hot air balloon.

No3 today is Michela Benazzi. Michela is the CEO of Sinatra Style Magazine, a model and a fine amateur photographer. She has a bubbly personality and is always ready to help. She'll be happy consulting on modelling or photography, so if you're a wannabe model, here's your chance! She's also a sweet romantic lady so if you're just a gentleman who wants to spend a evening to remember, she'll know how: "A quiet dinner in an Italian villa, dancing under the stars and the intoxicating romantic tunes echo encasing us both, a walk on the beach or sitting in the sand letting your toes dig deep into the sand while gazing up at the moons light reflecting down on the water, or even snuggled up by the fire watching a movie."

Next: Lyric. Lyric is the Co Founder of Clique of Beauty & Founder of Magazine Writer's Guide Association, and enjoys Music, Reading, Horse back riding, Traveling & simply Enjoying life. She likes getting to know people and is would like to be surprised with a creative date with an interesting gentleman who'll make her laugh. Oh... Men Only by the way!

The next contestant, Joshewa, is also one of my favorites. Just look at his pic! You fell in love with Wall-E? You want be far off with Josh. This genius scripter and mentor, with a great sense of humor and a love for live music, would like to meet someone easy-going.

Finally, Taylor Malibu is a sweet and shy girl. I met her today, and she's a truly nice woman, she's pretty, refreshing, and she's easy to talk to. She's looking for a proper gentleman. Surprise her... or take her to a winter sim, you'll make her melt!

But on top of all this, the guy is GENUINELY a NICE guy!!!! Dating him will guarantee you two hours of dream with the perfect gentleman. Give it a try!!!

Second up is Geryn Sloane. Fashion designer and owner of G Sloane Couture, amateur of SL art, live music fan, dancing queen, Geryn is an open-minded, joyful and outgoing person (not to mention a VERY pretty girl too). She'd love you to take her out dancing or go round the marvellous attractions at Costa Rica. By the way, don't forget to get her a little present: the final day of auction is her rez day!

All funds collected from the 2010 BCA Date Auction will be passed on to the Komen 60 miles in 3 days for a Cure . Two year ago we raised over $L600,000 is will be great to equal that number. 

DATE AUCTION:

Need a date for that special occasion, want to change things up from that “regular” you have been hanging with, or have you always wanted to go out with that person but never had your chance???

Do not be bashful – now is your time to explore the inner you and express it in a very positive way! Bid on that Babe or Dude and benefit breast cancer research at the same time. Go to the “Date Board” and select your target dates(s) – yes always have a plan B ready!

HOW DO I BID?

There will be auction boards rezzed in the event area to collect pre-bids. The same auction boards will be used to collect final bids and select winners. Only one person will have the top bid, once someone is out bid, their money is returned and notified by IM that they have been out bid.

WHAT DO I RECEIVE?

If you are the winning bid you will receive a date that consists of 2 continuous hours. It is up to the winner to contact “the date” and schedule a time that both can meet and go on their date. This is a charity event and meant to be fun and entertaining for the participants. Any misunderstandings or clarifications should be sent to IPUNIN PERA or FILO TANI.

MISS BLISS COUTURE 2011 - Second Phase, August

Bliss Couture is very excited to announce that second phase (August) of its beauty pageant of the year is starting.

The luxury label is proud and thankful after the amazing experience of the first phase (July), for the enthusiasm shown by the entrants and the overwhelming response. And this is the time to announce the first 4 finalists:

But the pageant has just started and if you think you have the numbers to win don't miss this amazing opportunity.

We are looking for a lady with a natural sense of style and an outstanding presence to represent the essence of our brand. We strongly encourage all the fashion and couture lovers, mannequins or new faces, to enter our model search that will crown MISS BLISS COUTURE 2011.

You can send your application from sunday August the 1st to sunday August the 15th as better explained in the attached notecard 

NOTECARD: 

Hello Ladies!!!

We are excited to announce the start of the MISS BLISS COUTURE 2011 model search. We are looking for a lady that represents the essence of Bliss Couture, glamour and style! We encourage fresh faces in SL to enter our pageant.

Last year was an amazing experience for all of us at Bliss Couture.  Our MISS BLISS COUTURE OF 2010, Mimmi Boa, continues her reign as our beautiful and talented Miss Bliss Model.  

The overwhelming response from the lovely ladies of sl was very exciting.  This year we want to provide an incredible opportunity for our contestants. Please carefully follow the instructions below so that your application will be eligible for the model search.

We will accept entries the 1st through the 15th of each month (August, September, October and  November). After the 15th of each month the contest will be closed until the 1st of the next month.   The final MISS BLISS COUTURE 2011 Pageant will be held in January 2011. 

All ladies that submit an eligible application will have their photo displayed in the Bliss Couture Model Search for the entire duration of the contest. 

At the end of each month 4 ladies will be selected from the pool of entries.  Those 4 ladies from each month will move to the final phase of the MISS BLISS COUTURE 2011 Model Search and receive a Bliss Couture Model Finalist tag.  They will also receive a Fat Pack of a Bliss Couture New Release of their choice.

All ladies are eligble to re-enter the next month contest if not selected as that month's final 4.

Step 1 -  You MUST be a member of the "Bliss Couture" Group to join this contest.  There are many exciting advantages of being a "Bliss Doll".  If you are not already a group member there is an "auto group inviter" at our Flagship Store

Step 2 - Join "THE BEST OF SL Magazine Readers" Group. All notices and results will be announced only in this group.

Step 3 - You must have Bliss Couture in your picks.  

Step 4 - Models will prepare a Notecard (this is your application) named - MISS BLISS COUTURE 2011 (YOUR NAME).   You will attach your photos (see step 5) and a short statement on why you believe you are the best choice for MISS BLISS COUTURE 2011 .  

Step 5. - Models will submit photos of themselves wearing a dress or outfit from BLISS COUTURE. There are NO limitations on the use of accessories from other vendors.  Accessories are left to the discretion of the model.

One full body and one headshot 512 X 512 (FULL PERM) each.  Full body photos will be judged on styling, while headshots will judged based on visual appeal of the model. Please send your entry on a Notecard to BOTH Caymon Zhora and Pleasure Babii.

Label your entry MISS BLISS COUTURE 2011 (YOUR NAME).  

Step 6 - The 20 girls selected from the monthly entries will participate in the January 2011, finale at the new BOSL 4 sim Auditorium. Specific details will be given to all finalist on what to wear and prepare for the finale. 

Miss Bliss Couture 2011 will be the Face of Bliss Couture and appear in most vendor ads for new releases, and will exclusively be the model in all print advertising for magazines and other media.  Miss Bliss Couture 2011 will be given priority for all modeling jobs available, only being replaced in the event of her being unavailable.

Prizes 

The top 10 finalists will receive a professional photoshoot, and their choice of any one fatpack of a new release Bliss Couture dress or outfit.

The top 5 finalists will all become Bliss Couture models, and be hired for various modeling work within the company.  In addition to the prizes for the top 10, the top 5 girls will also each receive a $5000L gift card from Bliss Couture.

Miss Bliss Couture will be awarded a specially designed diamond jewelry set from Virtual Impressions.  She will also be given all future Bliss Couture releases throughout her reign (one year), 30,000L Cash Prize and of course the title of Miss Bliss 2011.  

The winner will also receive an invitation to Boulevard Agency and an interview for BOSL Magazine.
